Prowein was over a month ago now, it was my first visit to this massive wine show in Dusseldorf.

The show was over three days and I was there with Jim Stalley who has been in the industry for 50 years! What an experience, between us we visited our existing suppliers and had a good look at and taste of some truly great wines.

I have decided as a result of Prowein and a subsequent visit to France to extend the range to include some wines from Spain, Italy, and Portugal.

I will be working closely with Jim who has a real passion for Italian wines and look forward to sharing his knowledge and selection with you.

The existing selection of wines offered from the Languedoc is quite diverse and will be complimented by the new wines so keep checking the website and look out for the new arrivals.

Inspired by the chic & festive oysters’ spirit, La Baraquette originates in the small oyster
farmers’ village called Marseillan. The range is composed of 6 wines, numbered according
to their color, from N°0 (clearest white) to N°5 (the darkest red), as a reference to
oysters’grade.
Aperitifs, tapas, picnics, parties… With seafood, grilled fish, grilled meat…There are so
many occasions for the wines La Baraquette to be appreciated !
